debchange

debchange (aliased to dch) is a program to help you create and maintain Changelogs. It can also handle NEWS.Debian files.

You can use it to add a change to a changelog, or when a new ?Version is needed. It even handles mulitple maintainers well.

You can find it in the devscripts package.
